Channel Re-call
Heres a way of easily accessing you last
viewd 20 channels
click ok or list to view the channel list

Now click the 'Red' button
this will display the Radio channel list

Now click the 'Red' button once again
this will display the last 20 channels you accessed
the list will incorperate both TV & Radio channels
this is an easy way of accessing your most watched
channels without making a Favorite list,
esspecially useful if you viewing habits alter from day to day.

For direct access you can ignore pressing
the 'OK' & 'List' buuton
and click the 'Red' button andgain direct access to the above.

Adding a New Satellite
When you find the need to add a new
satellite, to the Humax HDCI 2000,
just remember to disable Hotbird, otherwise you will get yourself
into all sorts of problems, in particular, the dish will almost always
return to the Hotbird position, if you do not disable Hotbird.
Once you have set up the new satellite correctly, you can then re-enable Hotbird
This only applies if using formula v NH1.00

Quick Fix for installing software
If you are experiancing the following
problems installing software:
[ SETUP.EXE is not a valid win32 application] with the following programmes
1) Formula (any version)
2) wdn4oak
A quick and simple fix is to do the following:-
1) First insert the Windows XP CD in the CD/DVD Drive
2) Restart windows
3) When asked to 'Press any Key
to boot from CD' press any key
4) When the process has finished
checking your computer, press 'Enter'
5) Now press 'F8' to accept the agreement
6) And finally press 'R' to start the repair of Windows XP.
it would seem as though the above either adds a missing dll, or replaces a corupt one.
Once the repair has completed, you should have no problem installing the above software.

Fast & Easy Access
To find a spacific Satellite quickly, all
you have to do is
click the yellow button and then the list button, this also
applies to finding a spacific encryption, click the blue
button and then the list button, this can also be achieved
by clicking the OK button then either the blue or yellow
button followed by the list button.

Accessing Channel Info
To get access to any of the channel
settings
either click the select button or the list button
then choose the channel which you wish to view the settings
from, and finally all you need do is click the 'i' button and a
seperate window will then be displayed with all the channel info.

Search Cancel / Save Otions
After doing a search you may find that you
do not wish to
save the results, all you need do is click the 'Back'
button and select cancel, the same can be done if you
also stop a search before it fully completes.

Hidden / Dealers Menu
This procedure will allow you access to
the dealers menu.
where you can copy one receivers settings to another or
reset the password, but the last two setting are inaccessable
they are proberbly for future HDCI Receivers with Hard Drive options
First click menu then System -> System Status

Now just hit the following buttons in this order
Red > Green > Yellow > Blue
> Yellow > Green > Red
and you will get access to the following screen.


Lip-Sync Options
This option allows you to correct and differance between the
video and audio.
You can also set this on a per channel basis, just adjust the leval untill the
audio and video are in sync with each other and save, this is only aplicable with
Dolby Digital broadcasts.
To access the the Lip-Sync options, Press and hold the 'Mute' button
for 3 seconds.
