Here's a little tip for sorting the Satellite list on the Homecast, first delete the channels or if it's easier do a factory reset, then in the Dish settings, you can order the satellites any way you wish, I have mine in order of orbital positions, ie Astra 1 -> Eutelsat W2 -> Hotbird etc etc, bear in mind if you try and order the Satellite list while you still have channels loaded on the Homecast, then the Satellite list will look okay, but the channels will be located incorrectly.

The only way to get it to function correctly, is to order the Satellites on a clean receiver, and only then add the channel list.

You should check every now and again to see if theres a new firmware release.
The easiest way of checking is to do an OTA check for new firmware.
All you need do is click  Menu -> Advances -> OTA

Please Note:
You can only access the on screen graphics using a scart connection
using a HDMI connection the screen will remain black, but you will get
the display on the receivers front panel.

If there is a new firmware available, click 'Yes' to download

There will be a slight pause, while it prepares to download

Here you will see the details of your current firmware,
and the latest firmware available, while loading

Once the download starts the progress bar will display the % of the download.

The download will then be checked before installing it.

If all is okay, the receiver will now re-boot to finalise the firmware

Now you can resume viewing the channels once again
as the update was completely succesfull.

Here's a description of the 10 image info icons
starting from left to right, if the icon is highlighted
then that means the function is available.

Icon 01 - Teletext
Icon 02 - Subtitles
Icon 03 - Audio Language
Icon 04 - Programme Lock
Icon 05 - Encryption if highlighted then the channel is encrypted
Icon 06 - Dolby
Icon 07 - Parental Control
Icon 08 - Multifeed
Icon 09 - HD - SD informs you if the channel is broadcast in HD or SD
Icon 10 - Stream Resolution

Select any multifeed portal channel,   here we shall select the
Premier World Direkt Portal Channel.
Now click the red button select the 'M' button and
you will then get access to all the multichannels
all you need do is click the channel you wish to view.

Select a channel you wish to re-scan or tweek
here we shall use the Fox Sport channel at 16east.
As you can see the frequency is 11.021

Click Menu then Dish and enter your password
the default password is: 0 0 0 0

As you can now see the frequency reverts to the
first TS stored in the list which is 10.957

Now rather than search through the TS lists for the frequency
all you need do is click the Exit button, this will then return
you back to the previous page.

Now all you have to do is click on Dish, no password required this time.

Now as you can now see the frequency reverts to the
correct frequency for Fox Sport which is 11.021

If you need to do a scan of that particular frequency
just change the setting to Manual Scan and click OK

Now you can scan for any changes to the Fox Sport channel

If you need to tweek the dish select Option Adjust Motor click the > button

and by clicking the , . arrow keys you can adjust the motor to the East or West
